Licensed Christian Counselor- Newport Office
The mission of Threads of Hope is to show Christ’s love in action through offering Quality, Compassionate Christian Counseling to individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds who are hurting and desire to grow into their full potential.
This position would be in Newport, MN and we are currently seeking someone who is skilled at working with couples and has 1-2 evenings of availability per week. The right fit for our company would have strong clinical skills and a desire to integrate faith into their practice, as well as marketing themselves to grow their caseload. The right fit is also an initiative taker and comfortable working independently. We have a small family-like team and offer weekly consultation, business cards and some marketing support, some referral base, billing and admin support, a comfortable therapy office stocked with professional resources, and competitive pay. As with most private practices this would be an opportunity to start small and grow (the speed of your growth depends on your tenacity in marketing yourself.)
Essential Job Requirements: Must have a Master's in Counseling or a closely related field. Be able to address general counseling issues across a broad range of clients. Perform assessments that include diagnostic interviewing, referrals for testing, and treatment planning to address the client’s issues. Write and maintain clinical notes including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and closing summaries. Be motivated to market yourself and Threads of Hope in a way that can increase your reach and help your client base grow.
Preferred: LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, or LP in Minnesota. Bonus: If you are an MFT board approved supervisor, there may be additional supervision work available as well.
